Roadster Video Length and Resolution Guide
Compare 5, 10, and 15-second Roadster videos in 768P and 2K. See how length, resolution, aspect ratio, and credit pricing affect your generation.
When you create a Roadster video, choose the clip length and output quality before generation. The price is shown for that exact combination, so you can decide how much motion and detail the scene needs before spending credits.
Choose a duration for the action
- 5 seconds works for one clear beat: a reveal, a pass-by, or a short acceleration.
- 10 seconds gives a camera move time to develop, such as following the car through a bend.
- 15 seconds suits a slower sequence with a longer approach, movement, and finish.
Longer does not automatically mean better. If the prompt describes one short action, start with 5 seconds. Choose 10 or 15 seconds when the scene needs visible time to build or resolve.
Choose 768P or 2K
768P is the lower-cost option for drafts, social posts, and quick concept tests. 2K costs more and is a better choice when fine body reflections or a larger display matter. Both options use the same 5-, 10-, or 15-second duration choices.
The current one-time prices are:
| Duration | 768P | 2K | | ---------- | ----: | ----: | | 5 seconds | $1.99 | $2.99 | | 10 seconds | $3.49 | $4.49 | | 15 seconds | $4.99 | $5.99 |
The checkout shows the amount before you pay. The matching credit amount is deducted when you start generation. There are no free generation credits or recurring plan fees.
Pick an aspect ratio for where it will play
Use 16:9 for a website hero or landscape video, 9:16 for vertical mobile feeds, and 1:1 for a square social post. Mention the camera framing in the prompt too, such as a wide establishing shot or a close low-angle tracking view.
A simple workflow
Write one scene and one camera move. Pick 5 seconds and 768P for a first pass. If the motion needs more time, increase the duration; if fine detail matters for the final version, choose 2K. The generator displays the price for your selection before checkout.
